We tested the Levede Black Bamboo Charcoal Fibre 35cm Mattress on the Porto Bed Base which is a good quality bed base with rigid slats.

The 9-zone pocket spring system provides basic support, but it doesn’t feel particularly stable or robust. As soon as you lie on the mattress, there is a noticeable level of movement and instability through the support core.

What else should I know?

Edge support is adequate at best. The perimeter compresses noticeably when sitting or lying near the edge, although this is largely consistent with our expectations given the mattress’ price point.

Temperature regulation was generally satisfactory during testing. As an innerspring mattress, airflow through the support core is reasonably good, and we did not experience any unusual heat retention. While sleeping temperature is influenced by many factors, we would not expect this mattress to present any significant overheating issues for most sleepers.
