The Wonderest Mattress is one of the cheapest mattress in a box products in Australia. Available at Clark Rubber, it sells for $499 (queen size) which is good value for money when you consider that the average mattress in a box costs around $1000.

As you would expect though, the Wonderest Mattress is not as well-built as many of its competitors. You can feel the springs through the top comfort layer and it does feel flimsy with big movements. Having said that, spinal support is actually OK, and the level of comfort it offers is fair for the price. The big downside though is that this mattress does not have a free trial period like most  other mattress in a box options in Australia.

So overall, the Wonderest Mattress is a decent option if you’re on a budget or just need something for the spare room. 

If you can dig a little deeper though, there are some other very good mattress in a box options like the Eva Mattress or the Sleep Republic Mattress which are much better than the Wonderest Mattress for only a little more spend.
