The Beautyrest TruEnergy Barbados is a very good mattress. It is a slightly softer version of the Beautyrest TruEnergy Jamaica but overall they are fairly similar. As with the Jamaica, it is solid and well built.
Beautyrest Illusion Super Firm Limited Edition (Discontinued)
The Beautyrest Illusion Super Firm Limited Edition is not surprisingly hard and comfort is a little compromised. Support is quite good though and it seems well built. Partner disturbance appears quite minimal. A little pricy but overall a good mattress.
Beautyrest Illusion Firm Limited Edition (Discontinued)
The Beautyrest Illusion Firm Limited Edition is fairly supportive but somewhat unremarkable. Comfort is reasonable but a hard sell for the price. To be fair, it is well built and the materials seem to be of high quality. Minimal partner disturbance.
Sleep Number Oracle Deluxe (Discontinued)
The Sleep Number Oracle Deluxe allows you to choose different comfort levels depending on your preference. A good idea but we don’t feel that the Oracle Deluxe hugs the body that well.
Sleep Number Oracle (Discontinued)
The Sleep Number Oracle allows you to select comfort levels according to your preference which is a good idea in theory but the feel of this mattress may not suit everyone – it almost feels like a water bed as you move through the customised settings.
Sleep Number Oracle Plus (Discontinued)
The Sleep Number Oracle Plus allows you to adjust the comfort level, typical of the Sleep Number products. The Oracle Plus has good support and is still fairly comfortable. It’s well built with very minimal partner disturbance.
Sleep Number Riva Limited Edition (Discontinued)
The Sleep Number Riva Limited Edition allows you to choose comfort settings on each side depending on your personal preference.
ComforPedic Beautyrest Delta 27 (Discontinued)
The ComforPedic Beautyrest Delta 27 has a hard and dense feel to it and hence comfort is somewhat compromised. Good spinal support but the lack of comfort through the hips and shoulders may affect sleep quality.
Technogel Classic (discontinued)
The Technogel Classic feels heavy and dense – not particularly comfortable. Support is pretty good though. Partner disturbance is minimal.
Sealy Posturepedic Thredbo (discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Thredbo is comfortable with decent spinal support. There appears to be some partner disturbance though. Heavy price tag – keep looking.
My Side Series 8 Ultra Plush (discontinued)
The My Side series allows you to choose a different option on each side of the bed. You can choose between firm, medium, plush, and ultra plush. We are reviewing the ultra plush version of the Series 8 here. This version is comfortable but there is a slight sinking feeling.
Sealy Posturepedic Jindabyne (discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Jindabyne is soft and comfortable. Spinal support is OK but there is some partner disturbance you will have to contend with.
