The Serta Icon Plush feels flimsy, bouncy, and spongy. Questionable spinal support. Comfortable but has some partner disturbance.

The King Koil Chiro Flex 5 Medium is comfortable with decent spinal support and minimal partner disturbance.

The King Koil Chiro Flex 5 Plush has that immediate sinking feeling and doesn't support the body well. It is soft and spongy so it is comfortable but spinal support is questionable. Partner disturbance appears minimal.

The Serta iContour Plush has a sinking feeling but once it settles it still gives decent support. Has that "dense" feel to it as well. Minimal partner disturbance.

The Serta iContour Medium feels solid and quite firm. Good spinal support. No partner disturbance. A very good mattress but a little pricy.

The Serta iContour Firm feels firm and solid. Very good spinal support. It may be too firm for some but it is still reasonably comfortable and has virtually no partner disturbance.

The Serta Avant Garde Sofia has a firm feel with good support but still fairly comfortable. Minimal partner disturbance. As with all the Serta beds, they feel solid and well made.

The Sealy Posturepedic Invigorate Plush feels soft and comfortable but spinal support is compromised. There is also some partner disturbance.

The Sealy Posturepedic Invigorate Medium definitely has some partner disturbance and feels a bit springy and bouncy. On the other hand it is comfortable and has decent body/spinal support.

The Sealy Posturepedic Invigorate Firm feels springy and bouncy and has some partner disturbance. Although it's reasonably comfortable, nothing remarkable here.

The Tempur Nirvana Balance is quite firm but still fairly comfortable. Very good body support and very minimal partner disturbance. Won't be suited to everyone but a very good mattress in terms of spinal support.

The Beautyrest Black Hybrid Charlotte feels a bit soft and spongy and although the build quality is no doubt of a high standard, the spinal support seems questionable. Partner disturbance seems minimal but it comes with a big price tag. Keep looking.
