Naptime Mattress Review
The Naptime Mattress is nice mattress that offers great value. It forms the mid-range model in Naptime’s mattress range that also includes the entry level iNap Mattress, and the flagship Naptime 2.0 Mattress.
Purchase and delivery
The Naptime Mattress can be conveniently ordered online (through the Naptime website) and will be delivered to your door in a compact box. Delivery is free and the mattress can be delivered Australia-wide. Naptime has an efficient delivery service and most deliveries will arrive within 7 business days (see delivery times in our ‘Delivery’ section below).
The mattress was easy to remove from its packaging, but as always we would recommend having two people available to unpack a mattress in a box. At 36kgs (Queen size), it isn’t particularly heavy, but it certainly isn’t as light as the Emma Mattress which is around 28kgs.

The Naptime Mattress combines simplicity with a modern style. It uses a grey and white colour combination with a distinct teal coloured brand label.
Comfort and support
The top cover of the Naptime Mattress is made from a bamboo knitted fabric that feels soft and silky. This cover sits over several comfort layers that include the ‘I-core hybrid foam’, cool-gel memory foam, and ‘I-9 natural latex’. These comfort layers are all well certified as non-toxic, and provide a cool and comfortable sleeping surface.
The Naptime Mattress is perfect for those looking for a great value, foam mattress.
Based on our testing, our team rated this mattress as a ‘medium-firm’ feel and a 7.5 / 10 on the firmness scale (with 10 being the firmest). Please note that our firmness ratings are just a guide and they do not necessarily relate to comfort.
The main support structure of the Naptime Mattress is made up of the ‘I-core transition’ foam. This section feels sturdy and should accommodate people of most sizes. The mattress as a whole is nicely balanced with comfort and support, and responds well to normal sleep movements.
The finer details
Overall build quality of this mattress is very respectable when you consider its price. Partner disturbance is minimal and edge support is within normal limits for a foam mattress. It’s worth noting that Naptime offers a 30 night trial period and a 15-year warranty, giving you plenty of peace of mind.
