Purchase and delivery
How do I buy the Dreamsuite Aero Mattress?
The Dreamsuite Aero Mattress is available to purchase online through the Sleeping Giant website, or in-store at Sleeping Giant locations across New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and South Australia.
Purchasing in-store allows customers to view and test the mattress before buying, while online orders are delivered directly to your home via Sleeping Giant’s distribution network.
Delivery timeframes will vary depending on stock availability and location. In major metro areas such as Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, in-stock mattresses are typically delivered shortly after dispatch. If the mattress needs to be transferred from another warehouse, delivery may take up to an additional 10 days.
For regional and outer metro locations, delivery generally takes between 1–10 days depending on the destination.
Once an order has been placed, customers will receive confirmation details along with delivery scheduling information.
As with most mattresses in a box, the Dreamsuite Aero Mattress arrives compressed and rolled inside a cardboard box. Our mattresses (Firm Support and Balanced Comfort) arrived in good condition, with the packaging providing adequate protection during transit.
There is a reasonable amount of packaging to dispose of, including cardboard and plastic, so it’s worth allowing some space for this. An information leaflet and cutting tool are typically included to assist with unboxing.
Following standard testing procedures, we recommend allowing up to 48 hours for the mattress to fully expand before use.
Aesthetics and Presentation
What does it look like in real life?
The Dreamsuite Aero Mattress has a clean, modern appearance with a slightly more premium look than many typical mattresses in a box.
It features a dark green side panel paired with a lighter quilted sleep surface, creating a subtle contrast that feels fresh without being overly bold. The top panel has a soft, textured finish that adds a bit of visual depth while maintaining a simple and tidy overall look.
At around 32cm high, the mattress has a relatively tall profile, giving it a more substantial presence on the bed. The side panels include vertical stitching and modest branding, and the overall finish appears neat and well put together. It’s a design that should suit most bedroom settings while offering a slightly more distinctive colour compared to standard grey tones.
Mattress construction
What’s inside the Dreamsuite Aero Mattress?
The following is based on the Balanced Comfort option of the Dreamsuite Aero Mattress.
1. ChillWeave cooling fabric cover
The Dreamsuite Aero Mattress features a ChillWeave cooling fabric cover. This material is designed to promote airflow and help regulate sleep temperature by drawing heat and moisture away from the body, contributing to a cooler and drier sleep surface.

2. Quilting layer – memory foam, charcoal quilting foam, and charcoal latex
Beneath the cover sits a quilted comfort layer that combines memory foam, charcoal-infused quilting foam, and charcoal latex. This layer forms the primary comfort surface of the mattress, offering a balance of contouring and responsiveness while also contributing to airflow and pressure relief.
3. Comfort and transition layers
Below the quilted section are additional foam layers that act as transition layers between the surface comfort materials and the support core. These layers help provide gradual support, improve overall comfort, and assist with ease of movement compared to more traditional memory foam designs.
4. 5-zone pocket spring support system
At the core of the mattress is a 5-zone pocket spring system. These individually wrapped springs are designed to provide targeted support across different areas of the body – softer support through the shoulders, firmer support through the lumbar region, and balanced support for the legs. This zoning may help to promote spinal alignment while also reducing partner disturbance.
5. Reinforced edge support
Surrounding the spring system is a high-density foam encasement that reinforces the perimeter of the mattress. This helps improve edge support, making the full sleep surface more usable and providing better stability when sitting or sleeping near the edge.
6. Base layer and finishing fabric
The mattress is finished with a durable base layer and fabric covering, which helps maintain structural integrity and overall durability while supporting airflow through the mattress.
Comfort and support
What’s it like to sleep on the Dreamsuite Aero Mattress?
As mentioned above, the Dreamsuite Aero Mattress is available in two comfort options – Balanced Comfort and Firm Support, which broadly correspond to a medium and a firm feel.
The Firm Support option is not overly firm and has a slightly softer feel than expected. It offers a reasonable level of pressure relief, with a noticeable amount of surface cushioning. There is a somewhat bouncy and lightly compressive feel to the top layers, giving the mattress a slightly “springy” and mildly sinking sensation.
While this feel may not be as refined as some higher-end models, it is fairly typical for a mattress in this price range. Overall, comfort is still quite acceptable, particularly for those who prefer a firmer feel without it being too rigid.
Our testing team rated the Firm Support option at 6.5 out of 10 on the firmness scale (with 10 being the firmest).
Firm Support
This firmness level should suit most sleeping positions, including side, back, and combination sleepers, although individual preferences will vary.
The Balanced Comfort option is noticeably softer and offers a more plush overall feel. There is a good amount of surface cushioning and give, with a similarly bouncy and responsive character through the top layers, although it can feel slightly less refined compared to higher-end mattresses.
Heavier individuals (around 100kg or more) may find that they sink more deeply into this version, which could affect overall support and comfort. That said, there is still plenty of softness and pressure relief on offer, so it may appeal to those who prefer a more cushioned and relaxed sleeping surface.
Our testing team rated the Balanced Comfort option at 4.5 out of 10 on the firmness scale (with 10 being the firmest).
Balanced Comfort
Please note that our firmness ratings are just a guide and they do not necessarily relate to comfort.
Furthermore, our firmness ratings are assigned based on Bedbuyer’s testing process and these may differ from firmness ratings given by individual companies. Mattress firmness will also vary depending on the type of bed base used.
We tested the Dreamsuite Aero Mattress on the Porto Bed Base which is a good quality bed base with rigid slats.
The underlying spring system feels adequate, though it doesn’t have the same level of strength, stability, or overall robustness that we typically see in more expensive mattresses. That said, it should still be sufficient for most people and provide acceptable back support, provided the chosen comfort level is suitable.
As noted above, the Dreamsuite Aero Mattress has a good level of responsiveness, with plenty of bounce from the combination of latex, foam, and pocket springs. This responsiveness is not excessive, however, and sits within the optimal range. As a result, changing sleep positions should be relatively easy and require minimal effort.
Responsiveness

Please note that our responsiveness scales are just a guide and preferred responsiveness levels will vary between individuals. It’s worth noting also that innerspring mattresses are generally more responsive than foam mattresses.
The finer details
What else should I know?
Overall build quality of the Dreamsuite Aero Mattress is respectable for its price point. While it is not a premium or high-end product, the materials and finish appear appropriate for this category. During our inspection, we did not notice any obvious defects or issues with the workmanship.
The mattress includes two vertically positioned side handles, which appear to be securely stitched. While there isn’t a great deal of space for larger hands, they should still assist with rotating or repositioning the mattress when needed.

There is a noticeable level of partner disturbance. The mattress does exhibit a bit of movement and slight instability, which likely relates to the spring system not feeling as refined or robust as some higher-end models we have tested.
Edge support is reasonable overall, and slightly stronger in the Firm Support option. While it is not exceptional, it sits within acceptable limits for a mattress in this price range and should allow most of the sleep surface to be used comfortably.
We did not detect any abnormal heat retention during testing. However, the Balanced Comfort option does contain thicker foam layers and has a softer feel, so some sleepers may find it retains a little more warmth.
As always, sleep temperature will depend on a range of factors including bedding, room conditions, and individual preferences.

Bed base compatibility
What type of bed base should I use?
As with most mattresses, we recommend the Dreamsuite Aero Mattress to be used on a bed base with flat panel slats such as the Koala Paddington Bed Base.
A bed base with solid slats such as the Porto Bed Base, would also be very suitable.
We would advise against using a bed base with flexible (posture) slats as this type of base may not provide adequate support. Ultimately, the use of an unsupportive mattress foundation will void the mattress warranty.
We don’t recommend that this mattress be used with an adjustable (electric) bed base. Here is our full list of mattresses that are compatible with an adjustable bed base.
It’s worth noting here that mattress firmness, performance, and durability will vary with different bed bases.
Trial period and warranty
What happens if I don’t like it?
The Dreamsuite Aero Mattress is covered by a 100 Night Sleep Promise through Sleeping Giant, allowing customers to exchange the mattress if the comfort level isn’t quite right.
To be eligible, the mattress must be used for a minimum of 40 nights to allow for an adjustment period. If it is still not suitable, a one-time exchange can be requested within 100 nights of delivery. A mattress protector must be purchased at the same time and used from the first night, and the mattress must be kept in clean and undamaged condition.
Exchanges must be for a mattress of equal or greater value, with any price difference payable. A $100 changeover fee applies to cover freight and handling costs.
The Dreamsuite Aero Mattress is also backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

What size options are available?

Final verdict
Is this the right mattress for you?
The Dreamsuite Aero Mattress is a fairly straightforward option that performs reasonably well for its price point. While it doesn’t stand out in any one area, it offers a decent level of comfort and should be suitable for those looking for an affordable mattress with a softer overall feel.
It’s worth noting that both comfort options lean towards the softer side, even the Firm Support version, so those seeking a truly firm and highly supportive mattress may want to consider other options. That said, for the price, the Aero delivers acceptable comfort and represents a reasonable choice for budget-conscious buyers.
