The Sealy Posturepedic Revitalise Grand Plush feels a bit soft and spongy but fairly comfortable. Decent spinal support but partner disturbance may be an issue. A pretty hard sell for the price we think.
Sealy Posturepedic Revitalise Deluxe Firm (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Revitalise Deluxe Firm is a great mattress – feels firm and solid, but still comfortable. Minimal partner disturbance. Definitely worth looking at.
Sealy Posturepedic Revitalise Grand Medium (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Revitalise Grand Medium is comfortable but still feels a bit flimsy. Spinal support is “OK” but partner disturbance may be an issue. Not worth the price.
Insignia Platinum Seville (Discontinued)
The Insignia Platinum Seville is fairly firm and dense but still comfortable. Excellent spinal and body support. Feels well built and has very minimal partner disturbance.
Insignia Platinum Valencia (Discontinued)
The Insignia Platinum Valencia has a slight sinking feeling initially but it does provide reasonable spinal support. A comfortable mattress with very minimal partner disturbance.
Tempur Nirvana Support (Discontinued)
The Tempur Nirvana Support has a very “heavy and dense” feel it when you lie on it. It provides excellent spinal and body support, but the “dense” feel may not be to everyone’s taste. Once again with the Tempurs, partner disturbance is virtually non existent.
Tempur Liberty Support (Discontinued)
Even for those who prefer a firm mattress, the Tempur Liberty Support would likely be too hard. Not comfortable at all. There may be a few who like it this hard but we wouldn’t think many.
Tempur Liberty Comfort (Discontinued)
A very comfortable mattress that also provides very good spinal support. Partner disturbance is also extremely minimal as it is with Tempur mattresses. Make sure you have an air-conditioned room as it will get hot in summer.
Beautyrest Black Hybrid Alexandra (Discontinued)
The Beautyrest Black Hybrid Alexandra feels a bit spongy and initially it gives a strange sinking feeling. Nevertheless it provides good spinal support and has very minimal partner disturbance. Price tag is a bit hefty though.
Tempur Nirvana Comfort (Discontinued)
The Tempur Nirvana Comfort feels comfortable and supportive when you first lie down, but it gradually softens over time and some of the support feels lost. The level of partner disturbance is very minimal but as with most Tempur mattresses it comes with a big price tag.
Tempur Asteria Sensation (Discontinued)
The Tempur Asteria Sensation feels dense and firm but still fairly comfortable. Spinal support seems good. An expensive mattress as with most Tempur products and make sure you consider that the Tempur products can get quite hot.
Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite Metropolitan Maine Medium (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite Metropolitan Maine Medium feels slightly flimsy but better support than the Florida version. There is some mild partner disturbance and both comfort and spinal support are not particularly impressive.
