The Beautyrest Curv Stylish has a somewhat ‘airy’ feel to it and is quite comfortable. Spinal support is quite decent as well. Partner disturbance is minimal. A good option but for the price we think you can do better.
Sealy Posturepedic Navi Plush (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Navi Plush is comfortable but has a somewhat ‘flimsy’ top layer to it and as such there may be some partner disturbance. Spinal support is decent but for the price we think it’s a hard sell.
Sealy Posturepedic Hampstead Firm (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Hampstead Firm is well built but we just don’t like the overall feel of this mattress. It is supportive but just doesn’t absorb the body well. There may be some partner disturbance also.
Tempur Original Traditional 23 (Discontinued)
The Tempur Original Traditional 23 has that familiar Tempur ‘dense’ feel and this particular mattress is quite hard and not particularly comfortable. As with all Tempur mattresses, partner disturbance is non-existent and the 15-year warranty is outstanding.
Tempur Asteria Original Firm (Discontinued)
The Tempur Asteria Original Firm feels very dense and would be too firm for many. Not particularly comfortable. Partner disturbance is virtually non-existent but there are better Tempur products.
King Koil Chiro Luxury Super Firm (Discontinued)
The King Koil Chiro Luxury Super Firm is hard and doesn’t hug the body well. There is this strange floating feeling to this mattress as well. Well-built and partner disturbance seems minimal but overall we aren’t convinced on this one. Big price tag as well.
King Koil Chiro Luxury Firm (Discontinued)
King Koil Chiro Luxury Firm is firm but still fairly comfortable. Spinal support seems reasonable, and partner disturbance seems minimal. A hard sell for the price though.
King Koil Chiro Inspire Plush (Discontinued)
The King Koil Chiro Inspire Plush has a rather ‘heavy’ feeling to it but a sinking feeling at the same time – spinal and body support isn’t great. Soft and comfortable, and parter disturbance is minimal but we aren’t convinced with the level of spinal support on this one.
Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite Perfection (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite Perfection feels soft and comfortable and hugs the body fairly well. There is some partner disturbance to contend with though. Certainly a well made product but for the price, we would keep looking.
Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite Excellence (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite Excellence has a slight sinking feeling and feels soft and comfortable. Only problem is this is accompanied with spinal support that is questionable – we don’t feel that is holds the body or spine that well.
Beautyrest Black Hybrid Victoria (Discontinued)
The Beautyrest Black Hybrid Victoria offers good support but we are not convinced at the level of comfort. It has a nice soft top layer which then goes to a much harder surface which just doesn’t feel that good. It is well built though and has minimal partner disturbance.
Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite Precision (Discontinued)
Although it seems well-built, the Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite Precision has some partner disturbance to contend with, as with many of the other products in this range. It is fairly comfortable and supportive but nothing really remarkable.
