The ComforPedic from Beautyrest Delta 25 feels hard, dense, and not comfortable at all. With such a hard surface, the level of spinal support becomes difficult to measure as the mattress surface doesn’t hug the body or spine well. Keep looking.
King Koil Chiro Luxury Plush (Discontinued)
The King Koil Chiro Luxury Plush has a sinking feeling to it which is not unexpected in a plush version. The strange thing is though, it has a hard feel to it as well which feels quite unusual. We must say we didn’t like the feel of this mattress.
King Koil Chiro Luxury Medium (Discontinued)
The King Koil Chiro Luxury Medium feels heavy and dense – not super comfortable but should be tolerable for most. Appears to be well-built and partner disturbance seems minimal but there is a hardness to this mattress.
Sealy Posturepedic Hampstead Plush (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Hampstead Plush is nice and comfortable and is still fairly supportive. Still thought there is some partner disturbance to contend with. A hard sell for the price.
Sealy Posturepedic Silken Celeste Plush (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Silken Celeste Plush has a very obvious sinking feeling to it and as such spinal support is compromised. Obviously personal preference but we don’t like these type of mattresses in regards to spinal support during sleep.
Sealy Posturepedic Crown Jewel Burgundy (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Crown Jewel Burgundy has a rather flimsy top layer which doesn’t seem to attach well to the rest of the mattress – felt a bit unusual. Nevertheless it is supportive and fairly comfortable. Clearly the build quality is high as the materials used appear to be premium quality.
Beautyrest Intrigue Firm (Discontinued)
The Beautyrest Intrigue Firm is supportive and comfortable at the same time, making it an immediate highly rated mattress. The cloud top design and memory foam create a beautiful surface which also hugs the body very well. Partner disturbance is also minimal as the mattress is well built and has a sophisticated pocked coil spring system.
Beautyrest Illusion Plush Limited Edition (Discontinued)
The Beautyrest Illusion Plush Limited Edition is certainly nice and comfortable and does hug the body quite well. Unfortunately spinal support is somewhat compromised. Partner disturbance is minimal though and as with most Beautyrest mattresses, the build quality here is high.
Beautyrest Illusion Medium Limited Edition (Discontinued)
Beautyrest Illusion Medium Limited Edition has an immediate sinking feeling which has nice level of comfort to it but unfortunately support is a little compromised. Partner disturbance seems minimal as the mattress feels solid and well built.
Tempur Liberty Balance (Discontinued)
The Tempur Liberty Balance is comfortable and supportive. It seems to hug the body very well. As with all Tempur mattresses there is virtually no partner disturbance. Keep in mind that Tempur mattresses can get quite hot.
Beautyrest Curv Funky (Discontinued)
The Beautyrest Curv Funky feels a bit hard and uncomfortable. Doesn’t seem to absorb body weight well. Minimal partner disturbance but for the price there are much better options out there.
Beautyrest Curv Sassy (Discontinued)
The Beautyrest Curv Sassy has a dense and ‘heavy’ feel to it. It has decent spinal support but doesn’t seem to hug the body that well. Partner disturbance is minimal. A good quality product but we just don’t like the overall feel of the foam layers here.
