Delivery information
Whether you purchase your Silentnight Hotel Luxe Royale Mattress online or in-store, Beds n Dreams deliveries are handled by contracted furniture removalists and are dispatched from state-based warehouses located in:
- NSW – Glendenning
- QLD – Kedron
- VIC – Dandenong
- SA – Mile End
- WA – Gnangara
Delivery fees are calculated from the nearest warehouse as follows:
Up to 40 km from the local warehouse: $100
Over 40 km from the local warehouse: $100 + $2 per additional kilometre
Some Beds n Dreams stores are located outside standard metropolitan delivery zones, including Helensvale (QLD), Maroochydore (QLD), Pakenham (VIC), and West Gosford (NSW). For these locations, delivery pricing is calculated based on a 30 km radius from the store, using the same distance-based rates outlined above.
For addresses outside these metro areas, delivery costs are estimated at checkout. While these estimates are usually accurate, in some cases an additional fee may apply depending on access or delivery requirements at the destination.
Delivery days vary by store and location. Most stores do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays, and some areas are serviced on specific days of the week. Your delivery date and time will be confirmed by phone or email, with a further confirmation sent 1–2 days prior to delivery to ensure someone is available to accept the order.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as vehicle issues, traffic incidents, or severe weather), Beds n Dreams customer service will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery time.
Aesthetics and Presentation
What does it look like in real life?
The Silentnight Hotel Luxe Royale Mattress has a sophisticated, hotel-inspired appearance. The cream sleeping surface features detailed geometric quilting, complemented by neutral beige and taupe tones around the perimeter.
The patterned side panels, vertical stitching, subtle Hotel Luxe branding, and high-profile design give the mattress a premium finish. Overall, the Royale is very nicely presented and certainly looks consistent with its luxury hotel positioning.
Mattress construction
What’s inside the Silentnight Hotel Luxe Royale Mattress?
The Silentnight Hotel Luxe Royale Mattress combines multiple comfort layers with a 5-zone pocket spring system and reinforced edge support.
1. Ultra-premium Organic Cotton Panels
The sleeping surface uses ultra-premium organic cotton panels. This gives the mattress a soft and comfortable surface and forms the outer covering of the mattress.
2. Hypersoft + Quiltec Blend Comfort Layers
Beneath the top panel sits a combination of Hypersoft and Quiltec comfort layers. These layers provide cushioning and help create the Royale’s comfortable, hotel-style feel.
3. Liquid-gel Infused Cooling Memory Foam
The Royale includes a layer of liquid-gel infused cooling memory foam. This layer is designed to contour to the body and provide pressure relief, while the gel infusion is intended to assist with temperature regulation.
4. 5-Zone Silentpocket Flex Coil System
The main support structure is a 5-Zone Silentpocket Flex coil system. The pocket springs are arranged into five targeted zones, designed to provide body contouring and support while also helping to minimise partner disturbance.
5. 360° EdgeBoost Boxed Wall Support
Surrounding the spring system is a 360° EdgeBoost boxed wall support. This reinforces the perimeter of the mattress, helping to improve edge stability and maximise the usable sleeping surface.
Comfort and support
What’s it like to sleep on the Silentnight Hotel Luxe Royale Mattress?
The Extra Firm version has a very firm and supportive feel, with just enough cushioning to take some of the hardness away.
Our team rated it 8.5/10 on the firmness scale (with 10 being the firmest). We feel that this option would be particularly well suited to back sleepers.
Extra firm version
The Firm version has what we would describe as a comfortable firm feel. It maintains a high level of support but offers a little more cushioning than the Extra Firm. Our team rated it 7.5/10 on the firmness scale.
Firm version
The Medium version offers more softness and cushioning, while still maintaining a good level of support. Our team rated it 6.5/10 on the firmness scale. It should suit many side sleepers, while also being suitable for many back and front sleepers.
Medium version
The Plush version has a soft and spongy feel with plenty of pressure relief. Our team rated it 4/10 on the firmness scale, making it a good option for those who prefer a softer and more cushioned sleeping surface.
Plush version
Across the range, the 5-Zone Silentpocket Flex coil system feels steady and responsive, providing good back support. It should accommodate sleepers of most sizes, and we rated its responsiveness within our optimal range, responding well to normal sleep movements.
Responsiveness
Please note that our responsiveness scales are just a guide and preferred responsiveness levels will vary between individuals. It’s worth noting also that innerspring mattresses are generally more responsive than foam mattresses.
The finer details
What else should I know?
The Silentnight Hotel Luxe Royale Mattress is very well made, with excellent build quality and a high standard of finishing throughout.
The mattress has large, strong side handles that are positioned vertically. These feel sturdy and should be very serviceable when rotating or transporting the mattress.
Edge support is very good, even on the Plush version. This is one of the more noticeable strengths of the Royale, with the 360° EdgeBoost boxed wall support providing good stability around the perimeter of the mattress.
Partner disturbance is minimal, with the mattress isolating movement quite well. A restless partner shouldn’t be too much of a problem for most couples, although partner disturbance will naturally vary depending on the size of the occupants and the size of the mattress.
The Royale also incorporates Global GreenTag certified technology, an independent certification relating to areas such as sustainability, environmental performance, health and safety.

Bed base compatibility
What type of bed base should I use?
As with most mattresses, we recommend this mattress to be used with a bed base with solid slats (not flexible/posture slats), such as the Atlantis Bed Base.
We would advise against using a bed base with flexible (posture) slats as this type of base may not provide adequate support. Ultimately, the use of an unsupportive mattress foundation may void the mattress warranty.
We don’t recommend that this mattress be used with an adjustable (electric) bed base. Here is our full list of mattresses that are compatible with an adjustable bed base.
It’s worth noting here that mattress firmness, performance, and durability will vary with different bed bases.
Warranty
The Silentnight Hotel Luxe Royale Mattress is covered by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.
The warranty covers manufacturing or material defects, subject to the warranty terms and conditions. It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, improper maintenance, or damage caused by using the mattress contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions.
If you need to make a warranty claim, you should contact the Beds n Dreams store where the mattress was purchased and provide proof of purchase.
$25 cashback – in-store purchase

To qualify, simply email your purchase receipt to Bedbuyer to hello@bedbuyer.com.au within three business days of purchase. Cashback is paid after verification and settlement of the sale.
