Purchase and delivery
The Emma Rosewood Bed can be ordered online (through the Emma website) and it will arrive at your door in 2 separate boxes – 1 large box 1 smaller, long box (queen size).
Delivery of the Emma Rosewood Bed is free and it can be delivered to anywhere in Australia. A normal delivery time is anywhere from 0-7 days. For more details about delivery, see our Delivery information section further down.
The Emma Rosewood Bed comes with plenty of good quality packaging to ensure that the components are well protected during transport. The product components were all in excellent condition when we removed the packaging.
Included on the packaging is a QR code that links to an instruction booklet on your smartphone.
Assembling
This product is cleverly designed in terms of its assembly. You won’t need any additional tools (Allen key and screws are all included).
We would highly recommend having two people on hand to assemble this bed base. If this is possible, it should only take around 5-10 minutes to assemble (once all of the packaging has been removed).
With that said, it is still possible to assemble this bed base with one person.

Once assembled, the Emma Rosewood Bed presents with a classic, stylish design. It should match many bedroom decor themes.
Stability and practicality
The Emma Rosewood Bed uses a number of solid slats that are attached with elastic straps. Once the slats are placed in position, they create a stable surface suitable for any mattress.
With that said, other than the slats at the head and base, the slats are not fixed and may move around a bit. Ideally, mattress slats should be more fixed to provide more reliable stability and support.
The overall quality of the wood, fabrics, and attachments is sound, and the components were not overly difficult to put together.
It’s also worth noting that there is about 18cm of storage space underneath.
The bed base does exceed the dimensions of the mattress slightly, but this extra length and width is minimal. So, it’s unlikely that you will be knocking or banging your shins on the sides.

After your new Emma Mattress is vacuum-packed and rolled into a compact box, it is ready to be shipped to you.
How much are shipping costs?
Shipping and return costs are free.
Please note however, if your collection address lies outside our normal delivery area then we might ask for your help to deliver your mattress to the nearest drop off location after all other options have been exhausted.
How does the delivery process work?
Orders placed before 10 am on weekdays are eligible for same-day delivery (between 2-6 pm) in the metro areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. Otherwise you will receive your mattress within 1-3 business days depending on your proximity to our warehouses..
For metro orders, a tracking link is sent to you via SMS on the day of your delivery so that you can live track the progress of the driver.
For regional deliveries, an email will be sent that will allow you to track the progress of your delivery throughout each step.
How long does the delivery take?
Normally, delivery of your mattress should be completed 0-7 business days after you placed your order.
