The Eco Kids Deluxe Mattress can be purchased directly through the Eco Kids website, with free delivery available to most metropolitan and inner-regional locations across Australia.
Delivery coverage is determined by the brand’s national courier network:
- Metro areas (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth & Hobart): Free delivery
- Inner regional areas: Free delivery where courier services operate
- Outer regional areas: A flat-rate delivery fee may apply
- Remote regions: Some remote locations are not currently serviced
As each Eco Kids Deluxe Mattress is made to order, production takes roughly 3 business days before dispatch from the Melbourne facility. Once shipped, the typical delivery windows are:
- Melbourne Metro: approx. 3 business days
- Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide & Canberra Metro: up to 14 business days
- All other areas: up to 21 business days

For those wanting added convenience, a Premium Delivery Service is available within Melbourne Metro. At 24 cm high, it sits a little taller than the regular Eco Kids Mattress, offering a plush pillow-top presence while still fitting most children’s bed frames. The only exception is top bunks, where a lower-profile mattress is generally required for safety.

The Deluxe model features a top surface made from a blend of natural bamboo lyocell and 100% Australian cotton. This creates a soft, breathable, and hypoallergenic top panel that’s gentle on sensitive skin.
The cotton is fully traceable through Cotton Australia, and the bamboo lyocell is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, confirming it is free from harmful substances and safe for direct skin contact.
2. Premium Certified Foams
Underneath the top fabric sits a combination of high-quality, GECA-certified comfort foams. These foams are non-toxic, eco-friendly, and offer smooth pressure relief while maintaining stable support – ideal for children of all ages.
3. Chiro Flex ES Spring System
The core of the mattress uses the Chiro Flex ES spring system, specifically developed for kids’ spinal needs. This support unit is up to 60% stronger than typical children’s mattress spring networks and includes a higher coil count for more even support across the entire mattress.

Bed base compatibility
What type of bed base should I use?
As with most mattresses, we recommend using the Eco Deluxe Kids Mattress on a bed base with flat, solid panel slats such as the Koala Paddington Bed Base.
A bed base with rigid timber slats – like the Porto Bed Base – is also an excellent match and will provide stable, even support.
We advise against using flexible (posture) slats, as they can create inconsistent support and may compromise the mattress’s performance. It’s important to note that using an unsuitable foundation can also void the mattress warranty.
We do not recommend pairing the Eco Kids Deluxe Mattress with an adjustable (electric) bed base, as the bending mechanisms may damage the mattress components. If you require an adjustable-friendly option, you can view our full list of compatible mattresses here.
As always, keep in mind that mattress firmness, performance, and long-term durability can vary depending on the type of bed base used.
Trial period and warranty
What happens if it doesn’t suit my child?
The Eco Kids Deluxe Mattress includes a generous 150-night trial, giving you ample time to decide whether it’s the right choice for your child.
If the mattress doesn’t suit, you can return it for a full refund, provided the mattress is kept in as-new condition with no stains, marks, or damage – we strongly recommend using a mattress protector from day one.
To support sustainability, all returned trial mattresses are donated to local charities, so the mattress must be repacked into its original plastic bag before collection. Freight partners cannot pick up mattresses that aren’t fully sealed, and it is the customer’s responsibility to re-bag the mattress for return.
Return shipping is free in metro areas (Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth). Outside these zones, customers will need to transport the mattress to their nearest charity and provide proof of delivery before a refund can be issued.
The mattress is backed by a 10-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This applies to the original purchaser and does not include normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse or inadequate care.
