The Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe can be conveniently ordered online through the Dusk&Dawn website.
Delivery is free to metro areas, and Dusk&Dawn can deliver to most areas in Australia. Delivery is not available to the Northern Territory, Tasmania, and some regional areas.
As part of the delivery process, Dusk&Dawn offers a ‘white glove’ service. This involves a dedicated 2 person team that will carefully handle your mattress and place it directly into your bedroom.
Dusk&Dawn also offers an ‘old mattress removal’ service for a fee of $120 (metro locations only).
Dusk&Dawn mattress orders are made to order so delivery may take several weeks. For more information on delivery times, see our ‘Delivery information’ section further down.
When you purchase your new Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe, you have the choice of either a firm, medium, or plush (soft) version.
Our Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe arrived in pristine condition, thanks to two thick layers of plastic wrapping. Unlike many mattresses that are purchased online, the Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe doesn’t come compressed in a box, so you won’t need to wait for it to decompress before sleeping on it.
Aesthetically, the Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe sends a strong message of luxury and quality. It uses a white, grey, and dark teal colour theme along with a sophisticated stitching pattern on the top sleeping surface.
The brand and model name label at the base also give this mattress a distinct touch of class.

The Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe has a number of layers and components that include an advanced spring system and enhanced edge support.
Layer 1. Outlast® Thermo-Technology Surface Fabric
The top cover of this mattress uses Outlast® Thermo-Technology. This revolutionary phase-change fabric was originally developed by NASA for heat management.
In context of your bedroom, this fabric helps to regulate body temperature regulation and comfort. The Outlast® surface fabric absorbs body heat and stores this heat ready for when your body cools. This creates a perfectly balanced ‘microenvironment’ for you while you sleep.

Layer 2. Premium Breathable Gusset Fabric
Sitting under the surface fabric is a premium breathable gusset fabric. This fabric is crafted to enhance air circulation whilst also delivering a stylish look and feel.

Layer 3. Premium Dusk Air infused with Hygroflex
Dusk-Air Tech is an advanced formulation that has also been infused with Hygroflex. Hygroflex helps to redistribute pressure, generating less friction between the body and the material.
This layer creates a superior, highly breathable, and ultra durable comfort layer that retains our superior loft on your mattress, designed to eliminate body impressions.
Layer 4. Graph-Tek Premium Italian Made Graphite Comfort Layer
This layer of Graphite Memory foam is made (and tested) in Italy. Graph-Tek infuses natural graphite minerals into superior memory foam to create a highly breathable comfort foam with maximum airflow properties.
Graph-Tek is naturally anti-microbial for a healthier and more hygienic sleep experience.
Layer 5. Elasta Gel Premium Comfort Layer
This cool gel infused foam forms a flexible layer with amazing pressure relief and comfort. The gel cooling properties keep the mattress at an optimal sleeping temperature.
Layer 6. Premium High Density / High Resilience Comfort Layer
This highly breathable comfort layer enables the mattress to regulate your body temperature for the ultimate sleeping experience.
Layer 7. Iso Coil Mini – 5 Zone Mini Pocket Spring System
This mini pocket spring system includes independently encased springs as well as 5 designated support zones. This provides maximum body contouring and support while allowing efficient airflow between the comfort layers.
Layer 8. Iso Coil Ultra – 7 Zone High Coil Count Pocket Springs
The main support system of this mattress is made up of independently encased and zoned Iso Coil Ultra Pocket Springs.
These pocket springs feature a smaller spring diameter, meaning that there are more springs used to distribute and balance weight across the mattress.

Comfort and support
As we touched on earlier, the Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe comes in 3 firmness options – firm, medium, or plush (soft).
The firm version is remarkably comfortable, with smooth pressure relief evident before the supportive feel of the main spring system. It has a squishy, spongy feel that is lovely to sleep on.
This mattress should suit all sleeping positions (side sleepers, back sleepers, and stomach sleepers) but understandably, its suitability will vary between individuals.
All of our expert reviewers agreed that this firm version has a ‘medium-firm’ feel. By majority vote, we settled on a 7 / 10 on the firmness scale (with 10 being the firmest).

We tested the Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe on the Koala Balmain Bed Base which is a good quality bed base with flat panel slats.
The medium version of this mattress is notably comfortable and luxurious. The top layer is soft and smooth, with plenty of comfort and pressure relief.
The medium version should suit most side sleepers but it should also suit back sleepers and stomach sleepers. Again, this suitability will vary between individuals.

As you would expect, the plush version has an abundance of pressure relief and absorbs body weight smoothly. You can almost feel your body to melt into the comfort foams with a spongy, foamy sensation.
This version hugs your body nicely, and would be ideal for those who prefer an unmistakable soft feel to their mattress.
This plush version would be most suited to side sleepers but it may also suit back sleepers and stomach sleepers. Again, this suitability will vary between individuals.

Not surprisingly, the Iso Coil Ultra Pocket Spring System provides an incredibly stable and supportive foundation.
Assuming that you select the correct firmness level for your needs, this mattress offers supreme back support and will accommodate people of all sizes.
The spring system in the Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe responds well to normal sleep movements and we rated its level of responsiveness in the optimal zone. In basic terms, this means that changing sleep positions (and intimate activities) shouldn’t be any trouble.
Please note that our responsiveness scales are just a guide and preferred responsiveness levels will vary between individuals. It’s worth noting also that innerspring mattresses are generally more responsive than foam mattresses.
The finer details
The overall build quality of the Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe is nothing short of exceptional. The materials used are first class and its finishings (stitching, external fabrics) demonstrate an extremely high attention to detail.
The Premium Dusk&Dawn Velvet Outer Fabric (on the sides) feels divine and really adds to the level of quality and class of this product.
Side handles always make it easier to rotate and transport a mattress. As we would expect on a mattress of this calibre, the side handles are large, strong, and are positioned horizontally for easy use.
The Power Edge foam box achieves an incredible level of edge support throughout all firmness options. Even though the firm version has the best edge support, even the plush version holds its edge well.
This strong mattress perimeter will provide a firm surface to sit on and also allows the user to use the entire surface of the mattress during , without the fear of rolling off the edge.

Partner disturbance is present but certainly not significant. So, a restless partner shouldn’t cause too many problems.
With that said, motion transfer may vary. A larger mattress (e.g. king size) will usually involve lower amounts of motion transfer. Partner disturbance will also depend on the size of the occupants of the bed.
At 38cm high, this mattress sits higher than many other mattresses. So, you may need to use deep fitting sheets such as the Koala Deep Fit Sheets.

What bed base should I use?
As with most mattresses, we recommend the Dusk&Dawn Signature Luxe to be used on a bed base with flat panel slats or solid slats such as the Dusk&Dawn Liquorice Bedhead & Base.
Dusk&Dawn Liquorice Bedhead & Base
We would advise against using a bed base with flexible (posture) slats as this type of base may not provide adequate support. Ultimately, the use of an unsupportive mattress foundation may void the mattress warranty.
Furthermore, we do not recommend this mattress to be used with an adjustable (electric) bed base as this may void the warranty. Here is our full list of mattresses that are compatible with an adjustable bed base.
It’s worth noting here that mattress firmness, performance, and durability will vary with different bed bases.

100 Night Exchange and Trial Period

For this reason, all Dusk&Dawn mattresses come with a 100 night comfort guarantee. During this time you can test your new mattress out in the comfort of your own home. You must own the mattress for a minimum of 30 nights from the date received, this will give your body the adequate time to adjust.
If between, night 31-100 you still are not satisfied with your sleep, then let us know and we will arrange to collect your mattress and adjust the firmness before returning it right back to you FREE of charge.
Do we offer a refund?
Yes we do offer a refund. But first:
1. You must go through 1 Comfort change first as per our Comfort Guarantee policy.
2. And then if you are still not happy after a further 30 nights of sleeping on it, we will happily refund your money (minus the shipping cost of $250).
