Aesthetically, the And Sleep Aura Mattress combines a classic style with some modern tones. The mattress uses a grey and white colour theme, and its brand name label and embroidery give it a nice touch.
Comfort and support
The And Sleep Aura Mattress has a rather fancy comfort layer that starts with a knitted Tencel fabric and Dacron (polyester) fibre. This sits over multiple layers of comfort foams that includes a layer of natural latex.
This comfort layer has smooth pressure relief and absorbs body weight nicely in all sleeping positions. To this point, this mattress should suit all sleeping positions (side sleepers, back sleepers, and stomach sleepers). Understandably though, its suitability will vary between individuals.
Our team rated it as a ‘medium / firm’ feel and a 7.5 / 10 on the firmness scale (with 10 being the firmest). The And Sleep Aura responds well to normal sleep movements and we rated its level of responsiveness in the ‘optimal’ zone. In basic terms, this means that changing sleep positions (and intimate activities) shouldn’t be any trouble.

What bed base should I use?
As with most mattresses, we recommend the And Sleep Aura Mattress to be used with a sturdy bed frame with solid slats (such as the Chiropedic Bed Base). We also recommend that these slats are no longer than 8 cm apart.
A bed frame with ‘flexible’ (posture) slats will not provide adequate support for this mattress. Please note that any unsupportive mattress foundation will void the warranty for this mattress.

The 5 Zone Indie Coil Pocket Spring System inside the Aura offers full-body support with no partner disturbance. This unique spring system also provides High Tensile Edge Support that protects the perimeter of the mattress from sagging and prevents roll-off.
