The Koala Cushy Sofa Bed can be ordered in 4 different colours – Ink, Vanilla, Tinny, and Gum Leaf. There are also two additional colour options that make up a ‘luxe edition’ – ‘Paperbark’ and ‘Penguin Parade’.
These colours all have an earthy vibe, and should enable you to choose a colour to match any home decor colour theme.
Comfort and support
The Koala Cushy Sofa Bed in ‘sofa’ mode has a comfortable, but supportive feel. We found it be more comfortable than many sofas that we have tested in the big retail stores.
The ‘luxe edition’ option that we tested (paperbark) appeared to have slightly thicker and higher quality fabric.
It only takes a matter of seconds to transfer this sofa into ‘bed mode’. The sleep surface has a firm and supportive feel, but it should offer enough comfort for temporary sleep situations. If you do share this bed, partner disturbance shouldn’t be a major problem.
The finer details
The Koala Cushy Sofa Bed presents nicely and certainly looks more sophisticated than many sofa beds on the market. Unfolding the sofa into the bed requires minimal effort, as is folding it back into sofa mode.
This sofa comes with a 120 night trial period, so you can return the sofa bed for a full refund if you are not satisfied. It also comes with a 5 year warranty.
Available sizes
The Koala Cushy Sofa Bed is available in 3 sizes. The 1.5 seater which is ideal for kids (and opens up to a single mattress), the 2.5 seater (which converts to a double size mattress), and the 3 seater (which converts into a queen mattress).

How to care for your new Cushy Sofa Bed
Regular care (weekly)
Vacuum regularly using low suction.
Protect from direct sunlight.
Spot cleaning
Remove any spills immediately.
Use a mild detergent to gently remove any loose soilage.
Do not scrub with a steel brush.
Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid.
Avoid over wetting as this may result in a water mark.
Allow the fabric to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
NOTE – Pretest the cleaning method on a hidden area of the sofa. If change
in colour, or transfer do not continue.
Pilling
Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should
not be considered a fault.
Fibre pills can be removed with a battery operated pilling tool, available
from most haberdashery stores.
