The Airnest Cot Mattress presents nicely with a grey and turquoise colour theme. It sits 12cm high and oozes plenty of style and innovation. It is one of the most visually appealing cot mattresses on the market.

Mattress construction

The outer cover of this mattress (named the ‘airnest-lite cover’) feels strong and durable. Perhaps the main features of this cover though, is its ventilation and breathability. This will not only help with infant respiration, and also with temperature regulation. This cover is removable and washable, making it easy to maintain a clean sleeping surface for your baby.

This cover encases the ‘airnest core’ which is a ‘nest like’ structure made from a non-toxic polymer.  This is much different (and arguably superior) to most other cot mattresses that are made with foams and springs. Like the airnest-lite cover, this core is also washable, allowing you to eliminate bacteria and potential allergens.

Products are couriered and tracked from our warehouse in Sydney. We typically expect delivery within 4 working days to most major metro areas, however some variation may occur depending on your location. If you’re having problems with delivery, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We only sell products within Australia and New Zealand and can only ship to a location where we can provide a delivery service. To maintain airnest’s breathability do not use with a non-breathable mattress protector. For the safety of children and animals, please dispose of packaging in a safe and environmentally friendly way. Do not place in close proximity to a fire, radiator or heater.

Washing Instructions:

It isn’t necessary for you to wash your mattress before use, but if you would like to, feel free! As the mattress and cover can be cleaned as much as needed, washing before use is completely up to you.

Cover

Unzip the cover and remove it from the mattress core to wash by hand or in a washing machine. If you use a washing machine, make sure you zip the cover closed to avoid snagging the fabric. Use a mild detergent and COLD water. Using hot water may cause the cover to shrink which would make it not fit properly.

Tumble dry on cool settings or hang to air dry.

After washing the cover should go back on the core easily. If the fit has become tight due to shrinkage please contact us immediately for a replacement.

Core

Place your Airnest Cot Mattress in the shower or bath, and spot clean the soiled area with mild detergent and COLD water. Shake to release water from the core, and lay it on its side to dry in a well-ventilated area and/or in front of a fan to speed up drying process.

What to avoid:

Do not use hot water – when washing, use only cold or cool temperature water. Washing with hot water will cause the cover to shrink and not fit properly on your airnest core.

Do not use heat to dry – Please be sure when speeding up the drying process, to only use cool air solutions. DO NOT USE A BLOW DRYER OR HEATING ELEMENT TO DRY AS HEAT MAY CAUSE THE COVER TO SHRINK AND CAN DAMAGE THE CORE.
