Slumba Mattress Review

The Slumba Mattress is a very good value option for those who like a firmer, more dense feel to their mattress.

The Slumba Mattress box arrived in very good condition. The Slumba box was actually protected by a second, protective box which meant Slumba’s box in pristine condition. The box and mattress itself were easy to unpack, and it only took a few hours for most of the decompression to occur.

The Slumba Mattress has an obvious firm and dense feel to it. As such there is certainly no dipping or sinking feeling and it would suit those who prefer a firmer feel to their mattress. There is some pressure relief, but again the density of the two memory foam layers seems more designed for support rather than cloud like comfort. Slumba’s hypoallergenic woven cover feels very nice and seems to be quite cool as well.

Partner disturbance seems very minimal, possibly one of the best that we have tested in the mattress in a box market. Edge support was actually quite good and better than most other foam only mattresses that we have assessed. Build quality overall was reasonable considering that a queen size is listed at $750, far below the market average of $1000. Aesthetically, the mattress looked clean and modern. The Slumba brand embroidery was very well done and showed Slumba’s attention to detail.
