The Cube Sleep System (with Chilipad® Cool Mesh™) is a revolutionary product that helps to regulation sleep temperature. It forms part of Chilisleep’s product range that also includes the more advanced Dock Pro Sleep System.
Purchase and delivery
The Cube Sleep System can ordered through the SleepMe website, and can be delivered Australia-wide. Keep in mind that as the product is coming from the US, shipping and taxes do apply (see full price list below).
The Cube Sleep System arrived in a compact box that was in very good condition. The device was easy to set up and shouldn’t be much trouble, even for the most ‘DIY challenged’. Chilisleep produced a nice video to demonstrate this process:
How it works
The Cube Sleep System uses a mattress pad and that connects to the ‘cube’ (the control system). This cube regulates the surface temperature of your mattress by actively circulating water through a network of micro tubes. Our sample didn’t come with an Australian power cable, so you will need to purchase an (US – Australian) adapter which can be found at Bunnings, Coles, or Woolworths for about $10.
With a predominantly hot climate, staying cool is an ongoing challenge for many Australians. On the other hand, those of us in cooler climates are faced with sometimes sub-zero temperatures which means that staying warm can be difficult.
Temperature control is further complicated by the fact many of us sleep with a partner and each person has their own temperature preferences. What is most ingenious about the Cube Sleep System is that on larger mattresses (King and Queen sizes) it offers two temperature zones. This enables partners to choose their own sleeping temperature, regardless of what their partner prefers.
This almost reminds us of the Sleeping Duck Mattress where you can select a different firmness level on each side. Imagine a Cube Sleep System on a Sleeping Duck Mattress. Talk about sleep sophistication!
Ultimately, the Cube Sleep System allows you and your partner to adjust temperature conditions to suit your individual needs, on any given day. We would definitely recommend this to those who have difficulties in maintaining a comfortable sleep temperature.

We were very impressed with the ingenuity of this product. It reminds us of what a great time we live in to have these options available to us. The Cube Sleep System may well be the perfect solution to the issue of temperature control during sleep.
