Each mattress is made to order in Melbourne by Chiropedic Bedding, ensuring that every unit is freshly built and individually quality-checked before dispatch.
Once your order is placed, manufacturing typically takes around three business days. Delivery is free to most metropolitan and inner-regional areas across Australia, and customers receive tracking updates as soon as the mattress leaves the factory.

What’s it like to sleep on the Yinahla Premier Firm Mattress?
The elastin cover feels soft and has a lovely, stretchy feel to it. It also feels breathable so it may help to regulate sleep temperature.
Although noticeably firm, this mattress still has a nice touch of comfort, and doesn’t feel particularly ‘hard’.
This mattress would likely suit back sleepers, but it may also suit some side sleepers and stomach sleepers. Understandably, this suitability will vary between individuals.
In terms of firmness, all of our reviewers agreed that this mattress has a firm feel. By majority vote, we settled on a 8.5 / 10 on the firmness scale (with 10 being the firmest).

The Yinahla Premier Firm Mattress responds nicely to normal sleep movements and we rated its level of responsiveness in the optimal zone. In basic terms, this means that changing sleep positions (and intimate activities) shouldn’t be much trouble.

The Yinahla Premier Firm Mattress embodies the same meticulous build quality that defines the entire Yinahla range. Every element – from the elastin-knit fabric to the titanium-reinforced spring system – has been engineered for precision, strength, and long-term performance.
The outer quilting is beautifully finished, with tight, even stitching and clean panel alignment that highlight its handcrafted construction. The fabric cover feels soft and breathable, while the dark contrast border adds depth and definition to the design.
Edge support is excellent. The rigid foam encasement around the perimeter provides a strong, stable border, allowing sleepers to use the full surface without the feeling of roll-off. This firm perimeter also contributes to the mattress’s low partner disturbance, a notable advantage for couples.
The dual spring configuration – combining micro coils with the 9 Zone Ultra-Coil system – performs brilliantly under shifting weight. It maintains a consistent, supportive feel through the centre and edges, minimising sag and preserving alignment over time.
Edge support is excellent.
All foams used in the Premier Firm are GECA-certified (Good Environmental Choice Australia) and Sensitive Choice approved, meaning they’re low in chemical emissions, safe for sensitive sleepers, and environmentally responsible.

Bed base compatibility
What type of bed base should I use?
As with most mattresses, we recommend the Yinahla Premier Firm to be used on a bed base with flat panel slats such as the Koala Paddington Bed Base.
A bed base with solid slats such as the Chiropedic Bed Base, would also be very suitable.
We would advise against using a bed base with flexible (posture) slats as this type of base may not provide adequate support. Ultimately, the use of an unsupportive mattress foundation will void the mattress warranty.
We don’t recommend the Yinahla Premier Firm be used with an adjustable (electric) bed base as this may cause damage to the mattress components. Here is our full list of mattresses that are compatible with an adjustable bed base.
It’s worth noting here that mattress firmness, performance, and durability will vary with different bed bases.
Trial period and warranty
What trial period and warranty does it come with?
The Yinahla Premier Firm includes a 150 night trial period, giving customers plenty of time to adjust and ensure it’s the right fit.
If you’re not satisfied within that time, Yinahla offers the option to exchange for another model or return the mattress for a full refund. Conditions apply of course, for example the mattress must be in an as-new condition with no damage, stains, marks or rips.
All returned mattresses must also be enclosed in the original plastic bag provided at the time of sale.
Returned mattresses are donated to charity through the Salvation Army, which is a nice touch that supports the community and reduces landfill waste. Free return shipping applies for metro areas, and customers outside those zones can coordinate collection through Yinahla’s support team.
The mattress is also backed by an exceptional 20 year warranty, one of the longest in Australia. This warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects in materials, offering long-term peace of mind and reinforcing Yinahla’s commitment to quality.
