The Sealy Posturepedic Aspire Refresh Firm feels quite flimsy and cheap – we could actually feel the springs when we sat down on it. Fairly comfortable and supportive but some partner disturbance to contend with. For the price, keep looking.
Sealy Posturepedic Aspire Refresh Medium (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Aspire Refresh Medium is fairly unremarkable considering its big price tag. Fairly comfortable and supportive but still a flimsy feel to it.
Sealy Posturepedic Aspire Refresh Plush (Discontinued)
You may have noticed we are not big fans of the Sealy Posturepedic range in general. The Sealy Posturepedic Aspire Refresh Plush is no exception. It feels springy, bouncy, and cheap.
SleepMaker Miracoil Classic Medium (Discontinued)
The SleepMaker Miracoil Classic Medium feels nice and comfortable and supportive too. Still a little bouncy and unsophisticated but partner disturbance seems minimal. We didn’t like the plush version of this model but we quite like this one. A strong contender for $1299. Worth a try.
SleepMaker Miracoil Classic Plush (Discontinued)
The SleepMaker Miracoil Classic Plush feels soft but at the same time has a strange hardness to it. Not sure we like the feel of this one. Partner disturbance is minimal but overall not convinced on this one.
SleepMaker Miracoil Support Plush (Discontinued)
The SleepMaker Miracoil Support Plush feels soft and comfortable but probably at the expense of some spinal support. Has a somewhat cheap and bouncy feel to it but partner disturbance appears minimal. For under $2000 it isn’t bad but we would suggest the medium and firm versions would suit most people better.
SleepMaker Miracoil Support Medium (Discontinued)
The SleepMaker Miracoil Support Medium is very comfortable and still quite supportive which makes for a very respectable mattress. Has a slightly bouncy feel but partner disturbance seems minimal. A good one for under $2000.
King Koil Chiro Entice Medium (Discontinued)
The King Koil Chiro Entice Medium has a puffy and dense feel to it and not overly comfortable but spinal support seems quite fair. Partner disturbance seems minimal. Meh…nothing special.
King Koil Chiro Entice Plush (Discontinued)
The King Koil Chiro Entice Plush feels ‘meshy’ and not particularly comfortable which is surprising for a plush version. Spinal support is decent though and partner disturbance seems minimal. Nothing too exciting but about right for the price.
King Koil Chiro Inspire Medium (Discontinued)
The King Koil Chiro Inspire Medium is comfortable but something about the top layer just doesn’t hold the body that well. Partner disturbance seems minimal and appears to be well made but we didn’t like the overall feel of this one.
King Koil Chiro Essential Plush (Discontinued)
The King Koil Chiro Essential Plush has a rather ‘meshy’ and puffy feel to the top layer. May not suit everyone but support is actually quite good for a plush model. Feels a little cheap and bouncy too but not surprising for the price. Some partner disturbance to contend with but overall not bad for the price.
King Koil Chiro Essential Medium (Discontinued)
The King Koil Chiro Essential Medium has a rather ‘meshy’ feel to the top layer and comfort level is a bit average. It is supportive for the spine so in that regard it is a decent mattress. Perhaps some partner disturbance to contend with.
