The Sealy Posturepedic Singles Affinity Plush feels soft and ‘foamy’ so it is quite comfortable but it has a distinct flimsy and bouncy feel to it. Spinal support is questionable. Overall feels pretty cheap.
Sealy Posturepedic Singles Affinity Firm (Discontinued)
The Sealy Posturepedic Singles Affinity Firm has reasonable spinal support but as with the plush version, this mattress feels cheap and has that distinct ‘bouncy’ feel to it which often indicates a very basic spring system. Nothing special here.
SleepMaker Halo Medium (Discontinued)
The SleepMaker Halo Medium has a somewhat ‘rubbery’ feel to it. Decent spinal support although there may be a little partner disturbance. Feels a little cheap but for the price it is a good one.
Sealy Active Firm (Discontinued)
The Sealy Active Firm has a ‘spongy’ feel to it but is quite comfortable and supportive. There may be some partner disturbance but for under $1000 this is a serious contender. Go and try it out.

The Fiji Whitehaven Tranquillity feels firm but “hard” and not particularly comfortable. Spinal support is decent but feels flimsy. Partner disturbance seems to be an issue as well.
