Mobile Mattress offers free standard delivery for all orders over $499 to metro areas of Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. Deliveries to metro areas within Western Australia, South Australia, the Northern Territory, and Tasmania will incur a flat rate delivery fee of $120.
This bed base comes in a choice of three colours – light grey, graphite (dark grey), or natural. Each bed base also comes with a choice of 6 inch timber legs or 4 inch black legs.
Assembling
The Soho Slimline Base is well designed in terms of its assembly. All of the necessary screws and Allen keys are included, as is an instruction booklet.
It should only take around 10 minutes to assemble and most of the screws were easy to screw in. With that said, careful positioning of the components is easiest with two people.
Once assembled, the Soho Slimline Base oozes plenty of modern style. It should blend into most bedroom decor, and has a simple yet trendy appearance.
Stability and practicality
The Soho Slimline Base uses solid slats and should be strong enough to support virtually any mattress. This base also includes a strong central support beam.
The overall build quality is admirable, and the slats should allow for good ventilation.
Not all of the slats are screwed in, but they should sit in place properly once all parts are attached together. Each slat is 7cm wide and 2cm deep. There is a 10cm distance between each slat.
The bed base matches the dimensions of its matching size mattress, so the base should not protrude from the edges of the mattress perimeter.
