Slumberland Stonehenge Review
The Slumberland Stonehenge has an extra-firm feel and is possibly the firmest mattress on the Australian mattress market. It is Australian made and comes with a 10 year warranty.
Purchase and delivery
This mattress can be ordered online, and delivery is available Australia-wide (see full delivery information in our ‘Delivery’ section below). It can also be purchased through any of Snooze’s stores across Australia.
Aesthetically, the Slumberland Stonehenge has a simple, clean appearance. Unlike other products in the Slumberland range, it lacks a distinguishable ‘pillow top’ and appears as one cohesive unit. It uses a white and brown colour theme and has a brand name label at its base.
Comfort and support
This mattress has a comfort layer that consists of a hi loft cushioned fibre (with wool) and high resilience ‘super firm’ foams. To say that this comfort layer is ‘modest’ would be very generous. Pressure relief is almost non-existent, giving a hard and uncomfortable feel.
We rated the Slumberland Stonehenge as an ‘extra-firm’ feel and a 10 / 10 on the firmness scale. Please note that our firmness ratings are just a guide and they do not necessarily relate to comfort.
The spring system used in the Slumberland Stonehenge is a Euro 5-zone pocket coil system. This support unit feels stable, and offers good spinal support. With such a low level of comfort though, the quality of this spring system may not be so relevant.
The finer details
In terms of build quality the Slumberland Stonehenge is sound. Surprisingly, it doesn’t come with side handles, but its quality and finishings appear to be of good quality.
Edge support is firm thanks to an ‘integrated perimeter band of spring steel’, and partner disturbance is minimal. Keep in mind though that motion transfer from a restless partner will depend on the size of the occupants of the bed.

Final verdict
The Slumberland Stonehenge is extremely firm and wouldn’t offer the level of comfort required by most. Nevertheless, it is well made and comes with a 10 year warranty.

Do you deliver to my area?
We endeavour to deliver your Slumberland Stonehenge to every address in Australia, however some addresses that are remote or difficult to access (some islands for instance) need to be quoted on a Price on Application basis.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
The majority of our products are made to order, so delivery times vary from product to product. For example most mattresses take between 7-14 days, while some custom-made furniture can take up to 8 weeks. Estimated lead-times are displayed on product pages.
How much does delivery cost?
If one or more items in your order are bulky (such as beds, mattresses, bedside tables and other bedroom furniture), then your whole order will be delivered by truck. The cost of delivery is then determined by the distance between delivery location and store of purchase:
Local Delivery distance of less than 25km – $80
Delivery distance between 25km and less than 60km – $100
Delivery distance between 60km and less than 100km – $125
Delivery distance greater than 100km – The store will contact you for special pricing.

Made in Australia, and finished by hand, each mattress is built using a steel band and T-Bar casings to help deliver on durability, with a 5-zone individually pocketed spring system to deliver all-round support.
