The SleepMaker Bed in a Box Mattress is a very good mattress in a box option for those who like a slightly softer feel with good pressure relief.
The top layer is soft, comfortable, and has a bouncy, ‘rubbery’ feel to it. It offers good pressure relief and spinal support is still quite good. The feel of this mattress is more characteristic of latex, but interestingly, the main comfort layer is made up of memory foam.
Partner disturbance is present but not significant. Overall build quality is good – the outer cover seems well made and durable. Edge support is a bit lacking but this isn’t surprising considering the softer feel of the mattress.
For $999 (queen size) it is priced right on average for a mattress in a box in Australia. If you like a softer, bouncy feel to your mattress, this is certainly one to consider.
