The Ruby has some spongy pockets on the top layer and is a slightly softer version of the 3D-12version. Still though, it is quite firm and would only suit those who prefer a firm feel. Would probably be too firm for most but partner disturbance is minimal and build quality is outstanding. If you like a firm mattress, we would say give it a go.
