Pillow construction

The Ginseng-Infused Natural Latex Pillow features a layered construction, combining latex and polyester fibre.

The upper internal layer is made from natural latex, while the lower layer consists of 100% polyester fibre.

The outer cover is made from 100% viscose with ginseng protein, providing a soft and breathable fabric surface.

The pillow measures 74cm long and 48cm wide, with a relatively low-profile design (around 10cm deep).

Comfort and support

The Ginseng-Infused Natural Latex Pillow has a noticeably different feel from most conventional foam pillows. It has a relatively flat, low-profile design, with a padded feel rather than the soft, spongy sensation typically associated with memory foam or solid latex pillows.

The combination of latex and polyester fibre provides some cushioning, although the pillow doesn’t have the same degree of contouring or responsiveness as a thicker foam pillow.

Its low-profile design may appeal to back sleepers or those who prefer a flatter sleeping surface. However, sleepers who prefer a fuller, more substantial pillow may find it lacks the height and cushioning they’re accustomed to.

Overall, the Ginseng-Infused Natural Latex Pillow has a rather unusual feel. Its flat, padded construction makes it quite different from traditional latex and memory foam pillows, and its suitability will largely depend on individual comfort preferences.

The finer details

The Ginseng-Infused Natural Latex Pillow is a rather unusual product, but it is still well made, with neat stitching and a nicely finished outer cover.

The cover is not removable, which makes cleaning a little less convenient. The pillow is also relatively large, measuring 74cm × 48cm, so finding a suitably sized pillowcase may require some consideration.

Despite its unconventional design, the pillow has a good level of build quality and may appeal to sleepers who prefer a flatter, less spongy sleeping surface.

Overall, the Ginseng-Infused Natural Latex Pillow is a well-finished product, although its unique construction and low-profile design won’t necessarily suit everyone.

Final verdict

The Ginseng-Infused Natural Latex Pillow is one of the more unusual pillows we’ve tested, with a relatively flat, padded design that differs from conventional foam pillows.

While it may not suit everyone, its low profile makes it a reasonable option for back sleepers and potentially younger children. However, its larger dimensions should be considered when choosing a suitable pillowcase.

Overall, the Ginseng-Infused Natural Latex Pillow is a well-made and serviceable product that may appeal to those who prefer a flatter, less spongy sleeping surface.
