The Quokka Beds Mattress Protector forms part of the Quokka Beds bedding range that also includes the popular Latex Mattress and a Mattress Topper.
This mattress protector is waterproof and is certified as non-toxic.
Materials
The Quokka Beds Mattress Protector is made of 100% organic cotton (245 grams per square metre). Each product is handmade from ethically farmed cotton factories in India.
The organic cotton is certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and is free of toxic chemicals. It has added TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) for water protection and has elastic through all sides.
This protector is designed for supreme ventilation and moisture protection. This should help to protect your mattress as well as allowing a high level of airflow.
Quality and practicality
The Quokka Beds Mattress Protector feels durable and the deep side sections (with elastic straps) make it easy to place on and remove from your mattress.
Quokka Beds states that the protector is designed to fit a mattress of a maximum depth of 30cm, but we feel it should fit mattresses even a bit deeper. outer cotton cover of this pillow feels soft, durable, and comfortable. It should also help to provide a good level of breathability.
The product comes with a handy storage bag, making it easy to pack away in storage.
At the time of this review, we were not able to locate any specific washing instructions (on the product or website).
