This cotton cover also features a zipper, so we assume that this cover is removable and washable.

The main body of this pillow is made of solid Dunlop latex, sourced from sustainable sources. This latex is used to help combine durability and support as well as providing an eco-friendly material.

There are no chemical fire retardants or chemical adhesives in any component of the pillow, only 100% natural latex.

The ventilation holes through the latex should also help to regulate sleep temperature.

Comfort and support

As mentioned earlier, the Peace Lily Solid Latex Pillow is available in a firm or soft (‘Luxury Plush’) option.

The firm option feels firm and supportive, with the characteristic bounciness of latex. It supports the head and neck nicely, whilst still providing adequate comfort.

As you would expect, the ‘Luxury Plush’ option is softer, with plenty of pressure relief. Again, it has the typical latex feel, rather than the spongy feel of foam.

Both options should suit all sleeping positions (side sleepers, back sleepers, and stomach sleepers) but this suitability will vary between individuals.

With the breathable cotton cover and ventilated holes (within the latex), we did not detect any abnormal heat retention when sleeping on this pillow.

Although this pillow is slightly wider than some pillows, these dimensions are quite typical of an Australian, standard size pillow.

We use Dunlop latex in our pillows because it is more eco-friendly than Talalay latex, which requires more processing. Our Dunlop latex is sourced from some of the world’s most eco-friendly and sustainable sources in Sri Lanka. Dunlop latex is naturally antimicrobial, cooler than memory foam, and also more durable than Talalay latex. No blended or synthetic latex is used, there are no chemical fire retardants or chemical adhesives in any component of the pillow, only 100% natural latex.

100% organic cotton fabric

For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a breathable 100% organic cotton fabric with high-density threading in a soft, natural colour. The fabric is 100% organic cotton, keeping your mattress topper as natural as possible and allowing you to be directly in contact with safe & organic materials. The fabric has been selected with a special request to remove any chemical bleaches, washes, dyes, or patterns which are normally present in all mattress fabrics.
