The Orthokinetic Octavia Support is a nice, firm mattress. It has a strong 7 zone pocket spring system and a comfortable top layer.

The Orthokinetic Octavia Support presents well with a clean, modern look. It uses a white and grey colour theme, similar to that of many other Orthokinetic mattresses. The brand name embroidery and ‘Support’ tag gives the mattress a nice touch of class.
Comfort and support
The top comfort layer of this mattress starts with a micro Tencel cover that feels soft and smooth. This sits over over a layer of viscoelastic memory foam and gel infused latex. This comfort layer offers nice pressure relief considering it is a firm version.
We rated the Orthokinetic Octavia Support as a ‘medium-firm’ feel and a 7.5 / 10 on the firmness scale. Please note that our firmness ratings are just a guide and they do not necessarily relate to comfort.
The spring system used in the Orthokinetic Octavia Support is 7-zone ‘Foam Encased Patented Air Pocket Micro Coil system. This support system feels robust and will accomodate people of most sizes. It offers very good back support and we certainly didn’t detect any sagging.
The finer details
In terms of build quality and craftsmanship, this mattress is sound. It has durable side handles to assist during transport, and thanks to its foam encased perimeter, edge support is solid. Partner disturbance is minimal, and its 15-year warranty gives a good indication as to its quality and durability.
