The Orthokinetic Octavia Plush presents well with a clean, modern look. It gives off a luxurious vibe, and the brand embroidery demonstrates a high level of refinement.

Comfort and support

The top comfort layer of this mattress starts with a micro Tencel cover that feels soft and smooth. This sits over over a layer of viscoelastic memory foam and gel infused latex. This comfort layer offers plenty of pressure relief, and absorbs body weight nicely.

Despite its ‘plush’ appellation, we rated the Orthokinetic Octavia Plush more as a ‘medium’ feel and a 5 / 10 on the firmness scale. Please note that our firmness ratings are just a guide and they do not necessarily relate to comfort.

The spring system used in the Orthokinetic Octavia Plush is 7-zone ‘Foam Encased Patented Air Pocket Micro Coil system. It has a fancy name but it does feel stable and will accomodate people of most sizes. It offers very good back support and should maintain good spinal alignment in all sleeping positions.

The finer details

In terms of build quality and craftsmanship, this mattress is sound. It has durable side handles to assist during transport, and thanks to its foam encased perimeter, edge support is solid. Partner disturbance is minimal, and its 15-year warranty is the perfect indication as to the quality and durability of this product.
