The Orthokinetic Arlo Plush presents well with a clean, modern look. It uses a shades of grey, combined with a white top cover, along with a nice brand embroidery.
Comfort and support
The top comfort layer of this mattress starts with a stretch knit top panel cover that feels smooth and breathable. This sits over over a layer of gel infused visco and gel infused latex. This comfort layer offers nice pressure relief, but is noticeable firm, considering it is a ‘plush’ version.
We rated the Orthokinetic Arlo Plush more as a ‘medium-firm’ feel and a 7 / 10 on the firmness scale. Please note that our firmness ratings are just a guide and they do not necessarily relate to comfort.
The spring system used in the Orthokinetic Arlo Plush is 5-zone ‘Foam Encased Air Pocket Spring Technology’ system. This system feels stable and should accomodate people of most sizes. It offers good back support and maintains spinal position well in all positions.
The finer details
In terms of build quality and craftsmanship, this mattress is very respectable. It has durable side handles to assist during transport, and edge support is sound thanks to its upholstery grade border treatment. Partner disturbance is minimal, and its 12-year warranty is strong indication as to the quality and durability of this product.
