The Orthokinetic Arlo Medium presents well with a clean, modern look. It uses a shades of grey, combined with a white top cover, along with a nice brand embroidery.
Comfort and support
The top comfort layer of this mattress starts with a stretch knit top panel cover that feels smooth and soft. This cover sits over over a layer of gel infused visco and gel infused latex. This comfort layer offers ample pressure relief, but is rather firm, considering it is a ‘medium’ version.
We rated the Orthokinetic Arlo Medium more as a ‘medium-firm’ feel and a 7.5 / 10 on the firmness scale. Please note that our firmness ratings are just a guide and they do not necessarily relate to comfort.
The spring system used in the Orthokinetic Arlo Medium is 5-zone ‘Foam Encased Air Pocket Spring Technology’ system. This system feels sturdy and should accomodate people of most sizes. It offers good spinal support and maintains spinal position well in all sleeping positions.
The finer details
In terms of build quality and craftsmanship, this mattress is commendable. It has durable side handles to assist during transport, and edge support is sound thanks to its upholstery grade border treatment. Partner disturbance is minimal, and its 12-year warranty is strong indication as to the quality and durability of this product.
