The Newentor Wireless Weather Station Q5 can be purchased online through the Newentor website.
Shipping is free Australia-wide in most locations, with orders typically dispatched within 1–2 business days. Delivery generally takes 3–7 business days, although some remote and Western Australian locations may take up to 10 business days.
Our package arrived in very good condition. The weather station was contained in a small, compact and sturdy cardboard box that appeared to provide good protection for the product during transport.
Tracking information is also provided by email once the order has been shipped.

The Newentor Wireless Weather Station Q5 is easy to set up and use.
Inside the box, the main unit and three wireless sensors are individually protected with bubble wrap. There’s also an instruction booklet, a thank you note and a handy set of stickers that can be used to label the different sensor locations.
The main unit requires two AA batteries, which aren’t included – we would have liked to see these supplied. Once the batteries are inserted, the unit starts up immediately, and there’s a protective film over the display that can be easily removed.
The controls are positioned along the top of the unit, with buttons that are well sized and easy to operate. The three wireless sensors can then be positioned in different areas around the home, allowing you to monitor temperature and humidity across multiple locations.
In our testing, we found the sensors connected reliably and operated successfully within the advertised 60-metre range.

What else should I know?
The Newentor Wireless Weather Station Q5 feels well made and sturdy, with a solid construction that should hold up well to normal household use. For a product like this, we don’t think you’d need anything significantly more premium in terms of build quality.
The large 6-inch display is clear and easy to read at a glance. When running on batteries, pressing the light button illuminates the display for around 15 seconds. The unit can also be powered via a cable, allowing the backlight to remain continuously illuminated, although the required cable is not included.
On the back of the main unit are two small fold-out stands, allowing the weather station to sit securely on a table, desk or bedside table. This gives you plenty of flexibility when deciding where to position it around the home.
It’s worth noting that the wireless sensors are not waterproof, so any sensors positioned outdoors should be placed in a sheltered location where they won’t be directly exposed to rain or water.
