The Madison Plaza is a well made mattress that has a soft, sinking feel. It uses premium comfort layers as well as a 7 zone spring system.
Purchase and delivery
This mattress can be ordered online, and delivery is available Australia-wide (see full delivery information in our ‘Delivery’ section below). It can also be purchased through any of Snooze’s stores across Australia.
The Madison Plaza presents with plenty of style and resembles most others in the Madison mattress collection. It has a distinct classic vibe, and its finishings and brand embroidery demonstrate a high level of class.
Comfort and support
This mattress has a rather fancy comfort layer that includes a micro TENCEL® stretch knit fabric, a deep HyperSOFT memory foam (infused with gel), and latex.
This comfort section feels foamy and spongy, and offers an abundance of pressure relief. So much so that it may not offer adequate support for some. As with most other Madison mattresses, there is a noticeably bouncy, rubbery sensation that may not be to everyone’s taste.
We rated the Madison Plaza as a ‘medium-plush’ feel and a 4 / 10 on the firmness scale. Please note that our firmness ratings are just a guide and they do not necessarily relate to comfort.
The spring system used in the Madison Plaza is a ‘German engineered 7-zone pocket coil support system with adaptive micro coils‘. This spring unit feels robust and should accomodate people of all sizes.
Assuming that the comfort layer offers the right amount of comfort, this spring unit should good back support and but as always, we recommend taking your time in-store to see if the firmness level is right for you.
The finer details
In terms of build quality and craftsmanship, the Madison Plaza is excellent. It comes with strong side handles, and its quality and finishings are excellent. Partner disturbance is minimal, edge support is sound, and the mattress comes with a 10 year warranty.

Final verdict
The Madison Plaza is a nice mattress but its level of firmness and support may not suit everyone. Nevertheless, it is well made and comes with a 10 year warranty.

Do you deliver to my area?
We endeavour to deliver your Madison Plaza to every address in Australia, however some addresses that are remote or difficult to access (some islands for instance) need to be quoted on a Price on Application basis.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
The majority of our products are made to order, so delivery times vary from product to product. For example most mattresses take between 7-14 days, while some custom-made furniture can take up to 8 weeks. Estimated lead-times are displayed on product pages.
How much does delivery cost?
If one or more items in your order are bulky (such as beds, mattresses, bedside tables and other bedroom furniture), then your whole order will be delivered by truck. The cost of delivery is then determined by the distance between delivery location and store of purchase:
Local Delivery distance of less than 25km – $80
Delivery distance between 25km and less than 60km – $100
Delivery distance between 60km and less than 100km – $125
Delivery distance greater than 100km – The store will contact you for special pricing.
