Kip Set Mattress Review
Beds R Us and SleepMaker have teamed up and have just released their very own mattress in a box called the Kip Set mattress . A pretty cool name but how does it stack up?
As with other mattresses in a box, you can order the Kip Set Mattress online and it will arrive at your door in a box. On arrival, you will notice the Kip Set is quite heavy, so we found it easiest to unpack the box lying on its side.
The Kip Set Mattress feels well built, and has a unique design which incorporates a stretch knit cover, Kip Set’s special Genius foam for pressure relief, special air vents for ventilation, and the Kip Set core which provides very good spinal support.
This design gives a nice combination of a light and comfortable top layer with a dense supportive feel to it at the same time. A similar feel to many of the Tempur mattresses we have tested, only thing is, Kip Set costs a fraction of most Tempur mattresses. The one stand out here is the level of partner disturbance, or should we say lack of – partner disturbance is virtually non-existent so a restless partner will not bother you at all on Kip Set.
The Kip Set is Australian made, has a 10 year warranty, and for under $1500 this is a good option for those who value minimal partner disturbance and good back support. The Kip Set will sit well on any surface – slat base, ensemble base, and even just on the floor.
If you’re after a supportive mattress with virtually zero partner disturbance, the Kip Set Mattress may just be the mattress for you.
