Purchase and delivery
The Emma Signature Bed can be ordered online (through the Emma website) and it will arrive at your door in 2 separate boxes. Emma offers free delivery, Australia-wide.
Assembling
The Emma Signature Bed is cleverly designed in terms of the assembling process. It doesn’t require any additional tools, in fact the only tools required are Allen keys (included).
It wasn’t as easy as some of the other bed bases we have assembled, and it may take anywhere between 30 – 60 minutes to assemble. We would certainly recommend having two people on hand to put this bed base together.

Once assembled, the Emma Signature Bed presents well with a modern, trendy style. Its dark grey colour theme should match the decor of most contemporary bedrooms.
Stability and practicality
The Emma Signature Bed uses a number of ‘flexi’ (posture) slats. These feel reasonably sturdy but we would check to see if your mattress is suitable to use with flexi slats. Some mattress warranties do not cover use with flexi slats, and we generally recommend mattresses to be used with a bed frame with solid slats.
The perimeter frame and headboard also feel solid, but we couldn’t find a listed ‘weight limit’.
Overall build quality is very good, and the flexi slats should allow for good ventilation.
