The Ruby has some spongy pockets on the top layer and is a slightly softer version of the 3D-12version. Still though, it is quite firm and would only suit those who prefer a firm feel.
Medicoil Ultimate Contour
The Medicoil Ultimate Contour has a spongy top layer which is fairly comfortable but the top layer feels somewhat unstable and spinal support is compromised.
Medicoil Supreme Contour
The Medicoil Supreme Contour immediately feels cheap – you can feel the springs with any major movement. Partner disturbance will also be an issue here.
Sleep Right
The Sleep Right has decent support but not particularly comfortable. Feels unsteady and partner disturbance will be an issue. Pretty cheap and nasty, maybe for the guest room.
Dream Well Cloud Plush (Discontinued)
The Dream Well Cloud Plush feels soft and light – very comfortable. Get Well Bedding have nailed this plush model as it still supports the spine very well.
Dream Well Cloud Firm (Discontinued)
The Get Well Cloud Firm feels quite firm but not ‘hard’ like some other firm versions. A different feel to the plush version in this model.
Utopia Mattress
The Utopia Mattress is easily one of the best mattress that we have tested. Simply beautiful to lie on, the top layer is soft and comfortable.
Shangri-La Mattress Medium
The Shangri La Medium has a lovely mix of comfort and support. The top layer of memory foam offers nice pressure relief.
Shangri-La Mattress Firm
The Shangri La Mattress Firm is one of the best firm mattresses that we have tested. The top layer is firm and provides excellent support.
Dreamsense Serenity Stella
The Dreamsense Serenity Stella has a slight bouncy feel to it but still offers good spinal support. Comfort level is average though. Minimal partner disturbance.
Dreamsense Serenity Luna
The Dreamsense Serenity Luna has a bit of bouncy feel to the top layer but still is comfortable and supportive. It has an interesting collection of puffy pockets on top. A decent mattress for the price.
Dreamsense Serenity Aurora
The Dreamsense Serenity Aurora has a very slight sinking feeling with a puffy top layer. Still, it is fairly comfortable and has decent spinal support. Partner disturbance is minimal.
