The Insignia Platinum Valencia has a slight sinking feeling initially but it does provide reasonable spinal support. A comfortable mattress with very minimal partner disturbance.
Dreamsense Slumber Topaz (Discontinued)
The Dreamsense Slumber Topaz feels bouncy and flimsy. Comfort level is OK but partner disturbance will be an issue. Spinal support is reasonable though.
Dreamsense Slumber Indigo (Discontinued)
The Dreamsense Slumber Indigo feels cheap and flimsy and partner disturbance will be an issue. For the price it does offer reasonable spinal support. You can’t expect much more for $449.
Dreamsense Slumber Amber (Discontinued)
The Dreamsense Slumber Amber was not as bad as we thought it was going to be for $349. The springs feel very cheap and flimsy, however the spinal support is actually OK. Partner disturbance will be a problem though. For the guest room only.
Tempur Nirvana Support (Discontinued)
The Tempur Nirvana Support has a very “heavy and dense” feel it when you lie on it. It provides excellent spinal and body support, but the “dense” feel may not be to everyone’s taste. Once again with the Tempurs, partner disturbance is virtually non existent.
Tempur Liberty Support (Discontinued)
Even for those who prefer a firm mattress, the Tempur Liberty Support would likely be too hard. Not comfortable at all. There may be a few who like it this hard but we wouldn’t think many.
Tempur Liberty Comfort (Discontinued)
A very comfortable mattress that also provides very good spinal support. Partner disturbance is also extremely minimal as it is with Tempur mattresses. Make sure you have an air-conditioned room as it will get hot in summer.
Insignia Response Fusion Plush (Discontinued)
The Insignia Response Fusion Plush is comfortable mattress despite the slight sinking feeling, but it is a plush model after all. It still gives good spinal support but we think most would be better on the firm or medium versions of this model.
Insignia Response Fusion Firm (Discontinued)
The Insignia Response Fusion Firm is a good mattress – good spinal and body support, comfortable, and minimal partner disturbance. May be a bit firm for some but give it a try if you like a firmer feel to your mattress.
Dreamsense Chiropractic Chiro Embrace (Discontinued)
In short – the Dreamsense Chiropractic Chiro Embrace feels cheap and there is a definite sinking feeling once you lie on it. Average body support and partner disturbance would be an issue. Look elsewhere.
Dreamsense Chiropractic Chiro Slumber (Discontinued)
The Dreamsense Chiropractic Chiro Slumber is quite comfortable and provides decent spinal support. It does feel a bit bouncy and flimsy though. Partner disturbance is “OK”. Not bad for the price.
Dreamsense Chiropractic Chiro Care (Discontinued)
The Dreamsense Chiropractic Chiro Care is fairly unremarkable. The mattress does feel a bit flimsy. Comfort, support, and partner disturbance are all “OK”.
