The Silent Night Newport Firm is a nice firm mattress with good spinal support. It still has some nice pressure relief so it doesn’t feel ‘hard’.

The Silent Night Newport Medium has a nice mix of comfort and support. It absorbs body weight nicely and partner disturbance is very minimal.

The Silent Night Newport Plush has a nice, light top layer that provides good pressure relief and spinal support is fairly good. Partner disturbance is minimal.

The Posturepedic Performance Caranday Super Firm immediately feels hard and uncomfortable and would only suit those who have a strong preference for a hard mattress.
Contempo Luxury Plush (Discontinued)
The Contempo Luxury Plush is well built and as the name suggests it has a a light and soft feel to the top layer. The pocket spring system absorbs the body weight nicely.
Contempo Luxury Super Firm (Discontinued)
The Contempo Luxury Super Firm is as the name suggests, very firm and so it does offer good spinal support. The mattress is robust and there is almost no partner disturbance.
Contempo Luxury Firm (Discontinued)
The Contempo Luxury Firm is firm but still has a reasonable level of comfort. Partner disturbance is minimal and build quality is decent. A good mattress if you like it a little firmer.
SleepMaker Miracoil Torrens 5 (Discontinued)
The SleepMaker Miracoil Torrens 5 Mattress is available at Beds R Us. It has the typical SleepMaker ‘spring’ which can feel a bit unsteady.
Romeo (Discontinued)
The Romeo is a very unique mattress, we haven’t encountered one quite like this one before. It is certainly firm, and has a bouncy feel. Also has a ‘meshy’ feel to the top layer.
3D-12 (Discontinued)
The 3D-12 has firm and spongy pockets with a nice pattern of roses on top. Quite firm and spinal support is good. May not be particularly comfortable for many though.
Venus (Discontinued)
The Venus is a beautifully made product and feels firm and dense. Has a slightly bouncy feel to it as well. The feel may not be for everyone so take your time testing it out.
Alice (Discontinued)
The Alice is quite firm and doesn’t have much give. Spinal support is good though. Very well built and partner disturbance is minimal. Price tag is a little heavy.
