Our product box arrived in very good condition, and the doona was easy to remove from its packaging. The additional cotton storage bag and was also a nice touch, as was the product card that allows you to track information about the down in your doona.
Bonny recommends to give it a good shake before use to help the doona loosen up. It can also be placed in the dryer for 5 minutes (on low heat) to ‘fluff it up’.
Product materials
The Bonny All Rounder Doona has a cover made from 100% cotton with an ultra soft 400 thread count.
This cover encases an ultra fluffy duck down with an 800+ ‘Fill Power’. Fill Power is a quality rating system for goose and duck down that typically ranges from 550 to 900.
Comfort and usability
The Bonny All Rounder Doona quilt feels light, soft, and comfortable. Its level of noise during normal sleep movements was well within normal limits, and it maintained temperature well with varying room temperatures.
The doona moulds to the body nicely, and has a nice balance of weight and warmth.
The wave stitching pattern should help in terms of remembering the correct position of the doona (length vs width). The correct fit is when the wave pattern runs vertically down the bed.
The corner loops on this doona are also a practical additional for compatible sheets.
