Octasmart® Plus Topper Review
The Octasmart Plus Topper is an excellent mattress topper that is comfortable and responsive. Its special ‘Octaspring® technology’ gives this product has a unique design and enhances air flow and ventilation.
The Octasmart Plus Topper uses a ‘Smart Performance Cover’ that feels soft and breathable. This cover is also removable and washable, making it easy to keep your topper clean.
This cover sits over a layer of memory foam, the Octaspring layer, and a base layer of Ecocell foam.
These components combine beautifully to produce a feel that is somewhat different to the traditional foam toppers that we have tested. The topper contours naturally to your body and to sleep movements, and the Octaspring layer eliminates the spongy, sinking feeling found in many other foam toppers.
One of the aspects of the Octasmart Plus Topper that sets it apart from its competitors, is its ability to regulate body temperature (minimise heat) during sleep. As we alluded to earlier, this topper is well suited to those who are prone to ‘sleeping hot’.
The one aspect of this mattress that we found questionable is the integrity of the foam springs. These are attached to the upper and lower foam components with glue, so durability may be an issue.
It’s worth noting that this topper is 7cm deep.
The Octasmart Plus Topper is a commendable product in the mattress topper market. It offers high levels of comfort and ventilation, and is a great option for those seeking additional comfort and support on an existing mattress.
