The Noa Lite Mattress forms the entry level option in Noa’s mattress range. It is firm yet comfortable, and offers outstanding value.
Purchase and delivery
This mattress falls into the ‘mattress in a box’ category, so it can be simply ordered online through the Noa website. Delivery is free and Noa can deliver to its serviceable areas in 2-14 business days. For more information, please see ‘Delivery’ section below.
Removing the Noa Lite Mattress from its packaging presented no problems and we allowed the mattress to decompress for 24 hours before we conducted our testing. You can see this mattress in real life in Noa’s product video here:
Comfort and support
The Noa Lite Mattress presents nicely and appears more expensive than its price would indicate. Its top layer starts with a Tencel fabric cover which feels soft, comfortable, and breathable.
This cover sits over a layer of cooling gel memory foam and a layer of adaptive transition foam. These foam layers offer nice pressure relief – although this mattress has a firm feel, it is certainly not hard or uncomfortable.
The mattress should suit most back sleepers, but it may also accommodate side sleepers and stomach sleepers. Understandably though, its suitability will vary between individuals.

Based on our testing, our team rated it as a firm feel and a 8 / 10 on the firmness scale (with 10 being the firmest). The Noa Lite Mattress’ comfort layer sits over a pocket spring system that feels stable and reliable. It is understandably not as robust as Noa’s flagship mattress the Noa Luxe, but it still offers good spinal support and should accomodate people of most sizes. The spring system also isolates sleep movements well, so partner disturbance is not significant.
The Noa Lite Mattress responds nicely to normal sleep movements and we rated its level of responsiveness in the ‘optimal’ zone. In basic terms, this means that changing sleep positions (and intimate activities) shouldn’t be any trouble.
Please note that our responsiveness scales are just a guide and preferred responsiveness levels will vary between individuals. It’s worth noting also that innerspring mattresses are generally more responsive than foam mattresses.
The finer details
The Noa Lite Mattress contains strong side handles, adding significant practicality to the product. Side handles always score points with our expert team and reflects Noa’s attention to detail.
The Noa Lite Mattress also has a 9cm thick layer of foam placed all around its sides which helps to enhance edge support. This is an impressive feature, considering that many of its more expensive competitors are frankly quite stingy when it comes to foam border encasements.
It’s also worth noting that the Noa Lite Mattress is well certified as non-toxic and environmentally friendly, so this should satisfy anyone who is seeking a mattress that is safe for their home.
What bed base should I use?
As with most mattresses, we recommend the Noa Lite Mattress to be used with a solid bed frame (such as the Sleep Republic Pro Base), or a solid ensemble base (with the slats no longer than 8 cm apart).
A bed frame (with flexible slats) may still be adequate, but again, we strongly recommend that the distance between each slat is less than 8 cm. Use of an unsupportive mattress foundation will usually void the mattress warranty.

Furthermore, we do not recommend the Noa Lite Mattress to be used with an adjustable (electric) bed base as this may also void the warranty. Here is our full list of mattresses that are compatible with an adjustable bed base.
It’s worth noting here that mattress firmness, performance, and durability will vary with different bed bases.

This mattress is available in 5 sizes (king, queen, double, king single, and single size) so it should accommodate most sleeping situations.

The Noa Lite Mattress is incredibly well-priced and should offer adequate support for most people. It also has the reassurance of multiple non-toxic certifications.

Once your order has been processed, our third party transporter will contact you to confirm a suitable delivery date. Delivery to your home is estimated on average between 2-14 business days once processed.
Our third part transporters offer threshold delivery only. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday, during regular business hours.
We currently offer free shipping on all orders within our serviceable areas. We don’t offer shipping to NT, TAS, P.O. boxes, and certain addresses located outside of our serviceable areas.
At this time, we are unable to hold your order until a future date. Orders including back ordered items will be processed and dispatched once the item(s) is back in stock.
