The Zzz Atelier Chiropractic Black Label Mattress is a well-made, good value mattress in a box that would suit those who prefer a firm feel.

The top layer has a nice, ‘expensive’ feel to it with a spongy composition. It doesn’t feel ‘hard’ like some firm mattresses we have tested but as we said it is certainly a firm feel. Spinal support is excellent and maintains spinal position very well, particularly while lying on your back. 

Build quality for a mattress in a box is very good. It has a nice, authentic bouncy feel to it, but certainly not flimsy. The materials used appear to be good quality and durable, particularly the top layer of fabric. Zzz Atelier’s multi-zone spring system feels solid and robust. Edge support is good, and although you can feel the springs a little with a violent jump, we were impressed with the quality of the mattress as a whole. Partner disturbance didn’t seem to be an issue.

The Zzz Atelier Chiropractic Black Label offers a 60 day free trial period which means you can get a full refund or exchange within this period if you are not satisfied. At $839, it is well below the market average of $1050 for a mattress in a box, so we would recommend this to those who are after a good value, firm mattress.

Delivery Times – Zzz Atelier

Our shipping rate is extremely competitive. We do not seek to profit from your Zzz Atelier Chiropractic Black Label product shipment and we pass on all savings we can to our customers. In fact, we offer free delivery from time to time, or when your total purchase is more than a certain amount. We recommend that you check out the delivery cost at your shopping cart before deciding to pick up your purchase. If you still prefer to pick up your goods regardless, you can do so by appointment at our warehouse as below.

Please call us at (02) 8971 8994 or send an email customerservice@zzzatelier.com.au to make an appointment prior to collection. Please note the following conditions for item pick up:

• To collect the item yourself, you will need to supply a full proof of photo ID at the collection point. A driver’s license, proof-of-age card, or a passport would be acceptable form of proof.
• For another person to collect on your behalf, you will need to scan and email your full photo ID to customerservice@zzzatelier.com.au. You will also need to detail the identification of the individual collecting the item.
• We reserve the right to refuse the collection of items by any person unable to provide sufficient proof.

Mattress & large item shipment

1. Once we have successfully received your order payment, we dispatch the items from our warehouse on the next working day.
2. We ship large items via courier companies and arranged delivery is required. You receive a shipment email with tracking number and courier company details.
3. You call the courier company quoting your tracking number to arrange a suitable delivery day. This is an important step to ensure that you will be available to sign for the delivery. Please note a re-delivery charge of $39 may apply for cancelled or missed delivery.
4. The item arrives at your doorstep. For larger and heavier items, you may need to assist the delivery driver to unload.

Depending on your delivery address, your newly purchased item can take any time between 2 days to 3 weeks to arrive at your doorstep. The approximate transit time would be:

Melbourne orders – 2 to 5 working days.
Sydney & Canberra orders – 2 to 7 working days.
Adelaide orders – 3 to 7 working days.
Brisbane orders – 4 to 9 working days.
All other major cities – 4 to 10 working days.

If you are in a rural/regional area, delivery times are generally around 7-15 working days, and at times can be longer.
