Purchase and delivery
The Quokka Beds Mattress Topper can be purchased through the Quokka Beds website. Delivery is free to most metro areas and and the product can be delivered within 5-10 days.
Our product arrived in good condition, rolled up tightly in plastic packaging. Once we removed the packaging, we gave the topper 24 hours to decompress before testing. With that said, it should be ready to use immediately after unpacking.
The Quokka Beds Mattress Topper has a rather unremarkable appearance. It sits 5cm high and uses a grey and cream theme. It has a wavy pattern along with horizontal stitching on its surface.
Construction and materials
The Quokka Beds Mattress Topper uses a cover made from 100% certified organic cotton and wool (GOTS certified, 1.25cm thickness). This cover feels thick, soft, and breathable. As such, it may help to regulate sleep temperature.
The cover is removable but it is not recommended that it be machine washed as wool is susceptible to shrinking. Instead, gentle spot cleaning with mild detergent and warm water is recommended.
As with all mattresses and mattress toppers, we highly recommend using a mattress protector.
The main body of this mattress topper consists of GOLS certified organic latex (3.75cm depth). The product also includes a non quilted fabric (bottom layer), a zip, and elastic edging.
